How it compares
When compared to plastic balance boards, the Wobbel Original offers superior durability and a significantly lower environmental footprint. Unlike stationary plastic step stools or rigid rockers, the natural flexibility of the beech wood provides a rhythmic bounce that is gentler on joints. In the realm of minimalist toys, it stands out for its high weight limit, allowing it to transition from a nursery item to a piece of functional fitness equipment for adults.
How to use it
- Place the board on a flat, non-slippery surface such as a rug or yoga mat.
- Stand in the center with feet apart to practice balancing and core stabilization.
- Flip the board over to create a tunnel for toy cars or a bridge for climbing.
- Use it as a lounge chair by placing a cushion inside the curve for reading.
- Incorporate it into a yoga routine for enhanced back stretches and poses.
The Wobbel Original has become the most used item in our playroom; it is a slide, a stool, and a bed all in one beautiful piece of furniture.
