Key features & specs

How it compares

In the 2026 market for eco-friendly art supplies, Sprout Pencils - Play Edition compete with standard wood-cased pencils and recycled plastic pens. While most eco-pencils focus solely on recycled materials, SproutWorld adds a unique interactive gardening element. Compared to competitive "seed paper" products, these pencils offer a much longer functional life before the planting phase begins.

How to use it

1. Use the pencils for drawing, sketching, or coloring until they become too short to hold comfortably.
2. Find a pot with a drainage hole and fill it with moist potting soil.
3. Plant the pencil at a 30-degree angle, seed capsule side down, just deep enough to cover the capsule.
4. Place the pot in a sunny spot and water regularly to keep the soil moist.
5. Watch your seeds sprout into herbs or flowers within 1 to 4 weeks.
