Who to contact and how fast we reply

Our corrections policy

Rankings are generated from a database, so a single wrong data point can propagate across dozens of pages. That is why corrections are treated as a first-class input rather than a complaints channel.

  1. 1

    You report it

Send the page URL, the specific claim you dispute, and a link to a public source we can check independently.

  2. 2

    We verify against the source

Certifications must be traceable to a public registry; prices and specs are re-checked against the retailer listing.

  3. 3

    The record is updated

The underlying product or brand record is edited once. Every ranking, comparison, hub and guide that references it regenerates automatically.

  4. 4

    The change is dated

Material corrections are noted on the affected page, and the score history reflects the revision rather than quietly overwriting it.

Editorial standards at a glance

No paid placement

There is no way to buy a rank, a badge or an inclusion. The only commercial relationship is affiliate commission on outbound retailer links, applied after ranking.

Sourced claims only

Certifications must resolve to a public registry entry. Controversies and recalls require a primary source such as a regulator filing or brand statement.

Reproducible scores

The 0–100 composite and its four pillars are computed from published weights, so anyone can re-derive a score from the data shown on the page.

Visible history

Resolved recalls and superseded scores stay on the record instead of disappearing, so a brand's trajectory is readable over time.

Topics we can speak to

  • How composite product scores are built and where they break down
  • Certification fraud, lapsed marks and unverifiable eco claims
  • Greenwashing patterns in consumer packaging and marketing copy
  • How AI-assisted research changes product discovery and review sites
  • Price-to-value analysis and cost per year of use across categories
  • Recall handling: which brands close the loop and which go quiet

Press & corrections FAQ

How do I report an error in a QuickRatey score?

Email corrections@quickratey.com with the product URL, the specific field you believe is wrong, and a public source we can verify. We reply within two business days and publish verified corrections within seven days.

Can a brand pay to be listed or ranked higher?

No. There is no paid placement, sponsored ranking or paid verification programme. Outbound retailer links may earn affiliate commission, but tagging happens after the ranking is computed and never affects order or selection.

How should I cite QuickRatey rankings?

Link to the specific product, category or hub page rather than the homepage, so readers can verify the underlying data. Suggested citation: QuickRatey — Independent Ethical Product Rankings, with the date you accessed the page.

Can I republish your scores or tables?

Short excerpts and single tables are fine with a link back to the source page. For bulk or ongoing use, email partners@quickratey.com so we can agree a data licence and keep your copy in sync when scores change.

How do I submit my brand for consideration?

Email hello@quickratey.com with the brand name, category, any certifications and a public link to your sourcing or impact statement. Submission does not guarantee inclusion, and inclusion is never paid.

Who can I interview about your methodology?

Email press@quickratey.com with your outlet, deadline and topic. We can speak to composite scoring, certification verification, greenwashing patterns and recall handling.
