How it compares
Unlike standard buckle harnesses that can leave gaps around the neck, the Sleepypod Martingale Cat Harness utilizes a martingale loop that tightens just enough to prevent escape without choking. It offers a more technical, performance-oriented fit than soft cotton vests, making it better suited for rugged terrain where snagging is a risk.
How to use it
- Slide the harness over your cat's head, ensuring the martingale loop is positioned on the back.
- Step your cat's front legs into the designated openings.
- Snap the side buckles shut and adjust the sliders for a snug but comfortable fit.
- Check that the reflective strips are visible for safety during low-light walks.
- Attach the leash to both D-rings for the most secure control.

Sustainability & Ethics
Sleepypod is committed to longevity as a form of sustainability; by creating products that last a lifetime, they reduce landfill waste. This harness is 100% vegan, utilizing high-performance synthetics instead of leather or silk, and is produced in facilities that adhere to strict ethical labor codes.
Pro tip
Check the cinching loop periodically to ensure it is clear of debris or thick fur to maintain the smooth sliding action of the martingale mechanism.
