How it compares
Unlike pharmacy-brand medicated shampoos that rely on coal tar or harsh chemicals, PURA D'OR Pet Therapy Shampoo uses high concentrations of organic aloe vera. It out-performs standard oatmeal shampoos by incorporating lavender and peppermint oils for natural antimicrobial benefits without stripping the coat of essential oils.
How to use it
- Wet the pet's coat thoroughly with warm water.
- Apply a generous amount of shampoo from head to tail, avoiding the eyes.
- Massage deep into the coat and skin for 2 to 3 minutes to allow botanicals to absorb.
- Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
- Towel dry and brush the coat to prevent matting.
"Finally, a shampoo that didn't make my dog break out in hives; his coat is shiny and he's finally stopped scratching!" — Verified buyer
Sustainability & ethics
PURA D'OR sources its ingredients through sustainable organic farming and manufactures in a facility powered by renewable energy. The brand is strictly cruelty-free and uses no animal by-products like honey or silk amino acids, making the PURA D'OR Pet Therapy Shampoo a truly vegan choice.
Pro tip
For pets with severe hotspots, let the lather sit for an extra five minutes to maximize the soothing properties of the aloe vera.
