Key features & specs

How it compares

Unlike standard petroleum-based plastic bricks, Once-Kids blocks are biodegradable and feature natural antimicrobial properties inherent to bamboo. While they have a higher initial price point than mass-produced plastic alternatives or soft foam blocks, their durability and compatibility make them a lifetime investment for the playroom.

What to know before buying

1. Verify that the child is at least 4 years old due to small piece choking hazards.
2. Understand that these blocks can be customized with markers, paint, or stains for creative projects.
3. Ensure you have a dry storage area, as natural bamboo should not be submerged in water for long periods.
4. Expect a tighter initial fit compared to plastic, which settles after a few uses.
