How it compares
Compared to traditional ropes made from cotton blends or synthetic rubber rings, the fleece construction of the Earth Rated Fleece Tug Toy is significantly gentler on a dog's gums and incisors. While typical rope toys can fray and become abrasive, the braided fleece maintains its integrity longer and is less likely to harbor bacteria since it can be fully laundered.
How to use it
- Introduce the toy during supervised play to build a positive reward association.
- Hold one end of the Earth Rated Fleece Tug Toy firmly while encouraging your dog to grip the other.
- Move the toy in a low, side-to-side motion to mimic natural prey movement.
- End the session before the dog becomes overstimulated to maintain the toy's value.
- Launder the toy weekly in a cold cycle to remove saliva and debris.
"The Earth Rated Fleece Tug Toy has survived months of intense play with my terrier, and it looks brand new every time I take it out of the wash." — Verified buyer
