Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to the Voltaic OffGrid, the FosPower kit is more affordable and includes two power banks instead of one, but lacks an integrated backpack. It competes directly with the 15W foldable panel kits and the FlexSolar 40W panel, offering a balanced middle ground of power and portability.

What to know before buying

1. Assess your total device capacity needs: the two 10,000mAh banks can charge a typical smartphone 4-5 times combined.
2. Note that the panel does not have a built-in battery; you must connect one of the included banks to store energy.
3. Check the panel angle: using the kickstand to orient the panel toward the sun improves charging speed by up to 40%.
4. Consider that the power banks themselves can be pre-charged via USB-C for immediate use before solar charging.
5. Remember that the panel is waterproof but not submersible; protect it from heavy rain.

"I bought this for hurricane season. The panel charges the power banks quickly in direct sun, and I can charge my phone and tablet at the same time. Great peace of mind." — Verified buyer
