How it compares
In the world of Electronics & Tech protection, Pela Case differs from traditional silicone or TPU cases by avoiding petroleum-based polymers. While standard clear cases often yellow and end up in landfills, the Flaxstic material used by Pela remains aesthetically pleasing and serves as a nutrient for the earth at the end of its life cycle. It offers a unique 'speckled' look that distinguishes it from the generic smooth finish of most mobile protectors.
What to know before buying
- Verify your phone model as the S24 and S24 Ultra require different sizes.
- The case has a break-in period where it will become more flexible after a few days of use.
- Avoid exposing the case to harsh industrial chemicals which may speed up the biopolymer breakdown.
- Clean the case using mild soap and water only to maintain the structural integrity.
I've dropped my phone several times on concrete, and this compostable case protected it just as well as my old bulky plastic one. — Verified buyer
Sustainability & ethics

Pro tip
