Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to standard plastic tricycles, the Wishbone 3in1 Bike offers significantly higher durability and a much longer lifecycle, as it adjusts as a child grows. While metal balance bikes are common, this FSC-certified wooden alternative provides a unique aesthetic and a more sustainable footprint by utilizing renewable materials and offering replaceable parts rather than requiring an entirely new purchase.

What to know before buying

1. Verify all bolts are tightened weekly during the first month of use as the wood adapts to humidity.
2. Choose the 'Original' version for the classic birch look or the 'Recycled Edition' for post-consumer carpet materials.
3. Assembly takes approximately 20-30 minutes and requires the included hex keys.
4. Always store the bike indoors or in a dry area to prevent the wood from warping over time.
5. Adjust the seat and frame orientation as your child gains confidence to maximize ergonomic comfort.

Does it work for a 12-month-old?

Yes, the 3-wheel configuration is specifically designed to support toddlers who are just starting to walk. The low seat height provides the stability needed for early exploration.

How does it compare to plastic trikes?

Compared to plastic alternatives, the Wishbone bike offers superior steering control and uses renewable materials. It is significantly sturdier and does not suffer from the sun-bleaching or cracking common in plastic toys.
