Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to other plant-based options like VeggieDent Zen, Veterinary Scripts chews are tailored for smaller breeds and offer a higher protein content from pea protein. They also stand out with a B Corp certification, highlighting a commitment to social and environmental responsibility over competitors that lack such credentials.

What to know before buying

1. These chews are intended for dogs between 5 and 20 kg; do not give to larger breeds to avoid swallowing risks.
2. Introduce slowly if your dog is new to plant-based chews; some dogs may need time to adjust to the texture.
3. Use one chew daily as part of a dental routine; combine with brushing for best results.
4. Store in a cool, dry environment to maintain freshness and prevent mold.
5. Always supervise your dog while chewing to ensure safe consumption.

Sustainability & ethics

Veterinary Scripts sources pea protein and chickpea flour from regenerative farms in the Midwest, and uses only compostable cellulose packaging to minimize waste. Their B Corp certification ensures fair labor practices, and the Leaping Bunny seal guarantees no animal testing throughout the supply chain.
