How it compares
Unlike traditional polyester-filled comforters that trap heat, Sijo utilizes wood-pulp derived fibers that naturally wick moisture away from the skin. Compared to bamboo bedding, Tencel Lyocell provides a smoother, more silky hand-feel and is produced using more environmentally friendly chemical processing methods.
How to use it
- Remove the comforter from its biodegradable packaging and shake vigorously to restore loft.
- Place inside a duvet cover to protect the delicate Lyocell fibers from surface wear.
- Wash only in cold water on a delicate cycle to prevent fiber breakdown.
- Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to maintain the natural cooling properties.
"Finally, a comforter that doesn't make me wake up in a sweat! It feels like sleeping under a cool, silky cloud." — Verified buyer
Sustainability & ethics
Sijo sources eucalyptus from sustainably managed forests, using a closed-loop manufacturing process that recycles 99% of the water and solvents used. By choosing The Tencel Lyocell Comforter, you are supporting a supply chain that avoids the animal welfare issues inherent in the down and wool industries.
Pro tip
Pair this comforter with a eucalyptus duvet cover to maximize the cooling and moisture-wicking benefits of the Lyocell fibers.
