Key features & specs

How it compares

When compared to traditional plastic fort-building kits, Stick-lets stands out because it does not require proprietary rods; instead, it utilizes materials found in nature. This eliminates the storage bulk associated with large plastic tubes and promotes environmental awareness. Unlike rope or twine, these connectors are reusable and do not require mastery of complex knots, making them more accessible for younger children who still want to build sturdy structures.

How to use it

1. Scavenge your local area or backyard for fallen branches and sticks of various thicknesses.
2. Select a Stick-lets connector based on the diameter of the branches you wish to join.
3. Stretch the silicone loops over the ends of the sticks to create secure, flexible joints.
4. Combine multiple triangles or squares to form the skeleton of a fort or teepee.
5. Drape a lightweight, vegan-friendly cloth or sheet over the frame to complete the shelter.

"We took these on our mid-2026 camping trip and the kids spent hours building a lean-to instead of asking for tablets; the durability is impressive." — Verified buyer

Sustainability & ethics

Stick-lets focuses on longevity and minimal waste by utilizing silicone, a material derived from sand that is more durable and ocean-friendly than traditional petroleum-based plastics. The brand encourages kids to use renewable resources—fallen sticks—rather than purchasing new wooden dowels. The packaging is entirely biodegradable, ensuring that the product's lifecycle begins and ends without contributing to landfill overflow.
