How it compares
Unlike standard flat puzzles, the BeginAgain Animal Parade A-Z Puzzle features chunky, stand-up pieces that allow for 3D play. While cardboard alphabet puzzles are prone to bending and peeling, this rubberwood version is built to withstand heavy use. It offers a more comprehensive learning experience than individual blocks by showing the sequence of the alphabet through an interconnected "parade" of animals.
How to use it
- Start by identifying the different animals to build vocabulary.
- Practice the alphabet by laying the pieces out in alphabetical order from A to Z.
- Use the individual animals as standalone figurines for creative storytelling.
- Mix the pieces up and challenge the child to reassemble the interlocking parade.
- Discuss the colors and letters printed on each side of the animal pieces.
"We've had this puzzle for two years and it still looks brand new; my son learned his letters so quickly by playing with the animals." - Verified buyer
Sustainability & ethics
BeginAgain focuses on the "great balance" of play, using plants instead of plastics. The wood is harvested from rubber trees that no longer produce latex, giving new life to old wood. The stains used are derived from plant-based pigments, ensuring the entire product is biodegradable and safe for inquisitive mouths.
Pro tip
Trace the animal shapes onto paper to create a coloring book for your child, extending the educational value of the set.
