Key features & specs

How it compares

In the 1440p monitor market, the ASUS ProArt PA278QV sits between entry-level productivity screens and high-end cinematic displays. While typical office monitors lack the Calman verification found here, this ASUS model provides professional validation that ensures what you see on screen matches your final output. Compared to curved gaming monitors, this flat IPS panel offers superior color uniformity across the entire surface, making it better suited for static image work than high-speed motion.

What to know before buying

1. Verify your computer's output ports as this monitor includes Mini DisplayPort and DVI-D, which are becoming rarer on newer laptops.
2. The 75Hz refresh rate is smoother than standard 60Hz but will not satisfy competitive gamers looking for 144Hz+.
3. Use the included factory calibration report to verify the Delta E performance of your specific unit.
4. Take advantage of the ProArt Preset and Palette tools to quickly switch between color spaces like sRGB and Reading mode.
