Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to standard fixed-bracket shelves or heavy wooden bookcases, the String system provides a significantly higher strength-to-weight ratio. While floating shelves offer a cleaner look, they lack the modular expansion capabilities that define the String Furniture experience.

How to use it

1. Measure your wall space to ensure proper stud alignment or use appropriate drywall anchors.
2. Secure the two vertical wire panels to the wall using the provided hardware.
3. Hook the shelves into the desired wire rungs.
4. Level the unit and tighten the safety clips.
5. Expand the unit horizontally or vertically by adding more panels and shelves as needed.

"The modularity is a lifesaver; I started with a small unit in my kitchen and eventually grew it into a full library in the living room without replacing a single part." — Verified buyer

Sustainability & ethics

String Furniture utilizes a localized production model in Sweden to minimize transportation emissions. The steel components are fully recyclable, and all wood-based shelves are sourced from responsibly managed forests under FSC guidelines.
