When compared to traditional leather ottomans, The Field Ottoman offers a significantly lower environmental impact by utilizing recycled synthetic fibers instead of animal hides. It stands out in the storage ottomans sub-niche by prioritizing a modular design that integrates seamlessly with existing seating collections.
What to know before buying
- Measure your existing chair or sofa height to ensure the 17-inch elevation provides a comfortable footrest.
- The fabric is stain-resistant, but immediate spot cleaning is recommended for liquid spills to maintain the weave.
- Verify that the interior storage dimensions accommodate your specific items like heavy blankets or board games.
- Note that the legs are interchangeable if you decide to update your decor style later with different finishes.
- The modular nature allows it to be used as a standalone seat or pushed against a sofa to create a makeshift chaise.
"The assembly was incredibly intuitive, and the hidden storage is the perfect depth for my extra throw pillows without looking bulky." — Verified buyer
