Key features & specs

How it compares

Unlike simpler wire baskets or sticky clip trays, the Stand Up Desk Store product offers a closed-bottom channel that hides cords and includes a modesty panel — a feature rarely found in competing under-desk trays. It outclasses budget plastic raceways in durability and aesthetics, while remaining more affordable than complete furniture-integrated cable systems.

What to know before buying

1. Measure your desk underside depth — this tray requires at least 5 inches of clearance.
2. Pre-drill pilot holes for easier installation on wood desks; use included anchors for metal desks.
3. Plan your cord routing: feed power strip and cables before tightening screws.
4. Use zip ties or Velcro straps (not included) to bundle loose cords inside the tray.
5. Check your desk thickness: tray screws are designed for 0.5–1.5-inch thick tabletops.

"This tray completely transformed my messy desk underside. The modesty panel was the selling point for me — no more visible cords during video calls." — Verified buyer

Sustainability & ethics

The Stand Up Desk Store cable tray is made from durable steel, offering long-term use that reduces landfill waste. The packaging uses standard corrugated cardboard, though the company does not disclose specific recycled content or ethical sourcing certifications. No animal-derived materials are used anywhere in this product.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Stand Up Desk Store cable tray easy to install on a glass desk?

Yes, but you should use the included adhesive mounting kit (sold separately for glass surfaces) rather than screws, as glass cannot be drilled.

Does this tray work with a standing desk that has crossbars?

It depends on your desk's design. If crossbars are less than 16 inches apart, the tray may need to be mounted between them; measure first to confirm clearance.

This tray supports up to 15 lbs of power strips, cables, and small accessories when properly screw-mounted into wood or metal.

Can I return the tray if it doesn't fit my desk?

Yes, the brand offers a 30-day return policy for unused items in original packaging, though return shipping is at the buyer's expense.
