Key features & specs

How it compares

Unlike basic smart plugs such as the Govee Smart Plug, the Aoycocr model includes built-in energy monitoring — a feature typically found in more expensive plugs from brands like TP-Link Kasa. It also supports group control and scheduling via the Smart Life app, making it a strong alternative for users who want data alongside automation.

What to know before buying

1. Ensure your Wi-Fi is set to 2.4GHz; the plug does not work on 5GHz networks.
2. Use the Smart Life app (or Alexa app) for initial setup and ongoing monitoring.
3. Check the energy monitoring reports in the app to identify which devices use the most power.
4. Set schedules or timers directly from the app or via Alexa/Google routines.
5. Use the remote control feature to turn off devices when you're away from home.

"I have this plugged into my home office setup and the energy monitoring feature helped me discover my old monitor was drawing 50W even when 'off.' Now I turn it off completely with the plug and saved $12 on my last electric bill. Works great with Alexa." — Verified buyer

Frequently asked questions

Does the Aoycocr Smart Plug work with Apple HomeKit or Siri?

No, it works exclusively with Alexa and Google Home. Apple Home users should choose a Matter-certified plug instead.

Can I monitor energy usage for multiple plugs at once?

Yes, you can add multiple plugs to the Smart Life app and view each one's energy consumption individually or aggregated.

Is the energy monitoring accurate?

Yes, the plug measures real-time wattage and cumulative kWh with reasonable accuracy for home use, within 2-5% of a dedicated power meter.

Does the plug retain its schedule if my Wi-Fi goes down?

No, schedules are cloud-based and require a Wi-Fi connection to execute. The physical button on the plug will still work manually.

Can I use this plug with a space heater or air conditioner?

The plug is rated for 15A (1800W), so it can handle most space heaters and window AC units, but check your device's rating and never exceed the plug's maximum load.
