Key features & specs

The following table outlines the technical specifications for the Seventh Generation Glass & Surface Cleaner Free & Clear.

How it compares

Compared to traditional blue-tinted glass cleaners, Seventh Generation performs exceptionally well without the use of harsh solvents or synthetic dyes. It provides a safer alternative to aerosol-based foam cleaners which often contain butane propellants. While some DIY vinegar solutions can leave a lingering scent, this formulation is completely odorless and faster-drying than standard water-vinegar mixes.

What to know before buying

1. Verify that your surface is compatible; while safe for glass, always spot test on antique treated mirrors.
2. Ensure the nozzle is turned to the 'on' position to activate the misting trigger.
3. For best results, use a lint-free microfiber cloth rather than paper towels to prevent streaking.
4. The formula is USDA Certified Biobased, meaning it is derived from renewable biological resources.
5. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the plant-derived surfactants.

"I was skeptical about a natural glass cleaner, but this leaves zero streaks on my sliding doors and I don't have to worry about the kids touching the glass afterward." — Verified buyer
