Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to simpler flower-growing kits that lack educational components, the National Geographic kit includes a 12-page learning guide and science tools like a magnifying glass, setting it apart. Other kids' garden kits often use plastic-heavy packaging, whereas this one emphasizes FSC Certified materials. For family-oriented Mother's Day gifting, it offers deeper engagement than typical herb kits.

What to know before buying

5. Use the included magnifying glass to observe seed sprouting and track growth in the activity journal.
6. After 8-10 weeks, transplant the strongest seedlings into larger pots or a garden bed.
