Key features & specs

How it compares

Unlike the clamp-on Inglesina Fast Table, the Lalo Hook-On Chair uses a hook mechanism that hangs from the table edge, making it even easier to install. It competes with portable boosters like the Chicco Bento Booster but offers a much smaller folded profile and an integrated footrest that promotes proper posture.

What to know before buying

1. Verify your table edge is flat and at least 0.5 inches thick; rounded or beveled edges may not be secure.
2. The chair is best for children who can sit independently — usually from 6 months onward.
3. Use the included safety straps to attach the chair to the table legs for extra security.
4. Clean the silicone tray in the dishwasher and wipe the frame with a damp cloth.
5. Store the chair flat under a sofa or bed when not in use.

"We bought two — one for home and one for Grandma's house. The hook-on design is genius, and the footrest keeps our 2-year-old from slouching. Folds so thin it slides under our couch." — Verified buyer

Frequently asked questions

Is Lalo The Hook-On Chair safe for a 12-month-old who wiggles a lot?

Yes, the safety straps and hook design keep it very secure, but always ensure the table is heavy enough to counterbalance the child's movement.

Does this chair work on a round table?

Only if the table edge is flush and flat — round tables with thick, curved edges may not provide a secure hook surface.

How does Lalo compare to the Inglesina Fast Table?

Lalo hooks onto the table edge, while Inglesina clamps to the tabletop; Lalo is slightly easier to install and packs flatter, but Inglesina fits thicker tabletops.

Can I use the footrest for a 6-month-old?

Yes, the footrest is adjustable to two heights to accommodate smaller babies, promoting ergonomic seating from the start.

Is the silicone tray safe for hot food?

Yes, the silicone tray is heat-resistant up to 428°F and is free of BPA, phthalates, and lead.
