Key features & specs

How it compares

The Guava Family Lotus Everywhere Travel Crib stands out from traditional heavy playards and standard foam travel beds due to its unique backpack format and side-zipper access. While heavy-duty pack-and-plays are often cumbersome and difficult to clean, the Guava Family design focuses on breathability and rapid 15-second setup. In the realm of 2026 travel gear, it holds its own against luxury high-low portable cribs by offering a smaller footprint without sacrificing internal mattress surface area.

How to use it

1. Unpack the crib from the included backpack straps and unzip the main compartment.
2. Unfold the aluminum legs until they click firmly into the locked position.
3. Place the padded mattress on the floor inside the crib and secure it using the integrated corner loops.
4. Use the side-access zipper door for soothing or nursing, ensuring the zipper is locked when the child is sleeping.
5. To pack, remove the mattress and pull the central release triggers on the frame to fold.

The side door is a lifesaver for my back, and the fact that it fits in an overhead bin is incredible.

Sustainability & ethics

Guava Family prioritizes ethical manufacturing and chemical transparency. The Lotus Everywhere Travel Crib is rigorously tested for over 10,000 chemicals, ensuring no VOCs or toxic flame retardants are present. The packaging uses recycled corrugated cardboard, and the brand maintains a commitment to fair labor practices within their supply chain.
