Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to basic melamine dry-erase boards or standard mobile whiteboards, the Ghent sliding porcelain board offers a ghost-free, stain-proof surface that outlasts cheaper alternatives. It also competes with other high-end glass whiteboards, but provides superior magnetic hold and lower glare.

What to know before buying

1. Measure your wall space carefully: the sliding panels require a total width of 96 inches to fully access both panels.
2. Installation is heavier than standard boards; a two-person installation is recommended.
3. Use only low-odor dry-erase markers to maintain the surface warranty.
4. Clean with standard whiteboard cleaner or isopropyl alcohol periodically to prevent ghosting.
5. Consider professional mounting for best alignment and safety.

"This is the best whiteboard I've ever owned. The sliding panels are incredibly smooth, and the magnetic hold is strong enough for heavy documents. Worth every penny." — Verified buyer

Sustainability & ethics

The Ghent whiteboard is manufactured in the USA using steel from recycled content. It carries GREENGUARD Gold certification for low chemical emissions, and the porcelain finish is free of volatile organic compounds. Ghent uses minimal packaging with recycled cardboard.
