How it compares
The EcoNour Windshield Sunshade stands out against generic marketplace shades by using 240T polyester, which is significantly more dense and opaque than the standard 170T or 190T fabrics. This higher density ensures better heat rejection. Unlike the rigid Covercraft options, EcoNour offers a flexible, overlapping two-hoop design that effectively fills the corners of the windshield, though it lacks the custom-fit precision of custom-molded shields.
How to use it
- Remove the shade from the circular storage pouch and allow it to spring open.
- Position the sunshade against the inside of the windshield.
- Adjust the two circular hoops to overlap as needed for a snug fit across the width.
- Pull down the car's sun visors to hold the top of the shade against the glass.
- To store, twist the two hoops in opposite directions into a figure-eight and collapse into the pouch.
"Super easy to use and it keeps my black interior from becoming an oven in the summer heat." — Verified buyer
Sustainability & ethics
EcoNour focuses on creating affordable, effective products that reduce the need for air conditioning by maintaining lower cabin temperatures, which can marginally improve fuel efficiency. The product is 100% synthetic and free from animal-derived materials. They utilize minimal plastic in their shipping processes to reduce waste.
Pro tip
Check the size chart carefully; selecting a size slightly larger than your windshield allows the hoops to overlap in the center for 100% light blockage around the mirror.
