Key features & specs

How it compares

When compared to traditional wood shape sorters or imported virgin plastic sets, the Green Toys Eco-Friendly Shape Sorter stands out for its hygiene and resilience. Unlike wood, this sorter can be fully submerged in water or tossed in the dishwasher, making it far superior for teething toddlers. While it lacks the weight of wood, it is significantly more impact-resistant than cheap, brittle plastics found in big-box stores.

How to use it

1. Introduce the four unique shapes one at a time to help your child identify circles, squares, stars, and triangles.
2. Use the contrasting colors of the shapes and the sorter bin to teach basic color recognition during play.
3. Open the two-part bin to store the pieces inside, making it an excellent compact travel toy.
4. Clean the set regularly by placing all pieces in the top rack of your dishwasher for a high-heat sanitize.
