Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to traditional hand-pump filters, the Earth Easy LifeStraw Peak Series offers a much faster flow rate and requires significantly less physical effort. While UV-based purification systems are faster for small batches, they fail to remove physical contaminants like silt or microplastics, which this gravity system handles with ease. This peak series model is also more rugged than entry-level squeeze filters, featuring reinforced materials that prevent leaks during rugged 2026 backcountry excursions.

How to use it

1. Fill the 3-liter reservoir from a lake, river, or stream.
2. Hang the bag from a tree branch or high point using the included strap.
3. Connect the hose and ensure the filter is attached to the bottom.
4. Open the nozzle to let gravity pull the water through the filter into your container.
5. Backwash the filter using the included syringe after every use to maintain flow speed.

Sustainability & ethics

Earth Easy and LifeStraw maintain a strong commitment to global water access through their 'Give Back' program, which provides a child in need with safe water for a year for every product sold. The materials are 100% vegan, containing no animal byproducts, and the Peak Series uses premium, long-lasting materials to reduce landfill waste from broken gear.
