Who it's for

• Professionals using sit-stand desks who need cables to move smoothly without snagging.

Key features & specs

How it compares

Unlike standalone trays such as the HumanCentric Under Desk Cable Management Tray & Cord Raceway, the Desky channel includes built-in power and USB ports, eliminating the need for a separate power strip. It sits flush against the desk underside, offering a more integrated appearance than clamp-on trays.

What to know before buying

1. Drilling is required for installation — ensure you have a drill and appropriate bits for your desk material.
2. Check the clearance of your desk's underside: the channel is 1.5 inches deep.
3. Route all cables through the removable access flap before plugging them into the power ports.
4. Use the cord clips provided to secure loose cables inside the channel.
5. Verify local electrical codes if using in a commercial office environment.

Verified buyer: "I was hesitant about drilling, but the included template made it simple. Now my white desk looks completely wire-free — worth the effort."

Sustainability & ethics

The Desky channel uses aluminum, a highly recyclable material, and the ABS plastic components are BPA-free. The brand ships in minimal packaging with recycled content. While Desky does not hold formal certifications, their focus on durable, long-lasting design reduces e-waste.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Desky channel compatible with a standing desk that moves up and down?

Yes, the channel is designed to stay attached to the desk and moves with it, provided the cable loop has enough slack.

Does the channel come with a power cord?

Yes, a 6-foot power cord is included with a 3-prong plug.

How does the Desky channel compare to the Humanscale NTLGG Cable Management?

The Desky is more affordable and includes integrated power outlets, while the Humanscale NTLGG focuses on pure cord concealment without built-in sockets.

Will the white color match all desk finishes?

White is a neutral fit for most light-colored desks; for dark desks, a black version is available separately.

Can I install this alone or do I need a professional?

A handy DIYer can install it with a drill in about 20 minutes — no electrician required as it plugs into a standard wall outlet.
