Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to simpler coding toys like the Fisher-Price Code-a-Pillar, the Code & Go Robot Mouse offers a more structured learning experience with a physical maze and coding cards. It also stands out from screen-based coding apps by providing a tactile, collaborative activity that siblings or classmates can share.

What to know before buying

1. Purchase 3 AAA batteries beforehand, as they are not included in the box.
2. Begin with the simple maze templates provided, then encourage your child to design their own mazes using the included walls.
3. Use the coding cards to plan sequences before pressing the buttons on the mouse—this reinforces algorithmic thinking.
4. Store all maze pieces in the original box to prevent losing them, as they are essential for the full experience.
