Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to single-bottle stainless options like the Ello Ellies 12oz, the baab 2-pack offers larger capacity and better value per ounce. It competes with the THERMOS FUNTAINER (plastic, no insulation) but at a higher build quality. The baab handles are sturdier than many competitors, making it easier for little hands to carry.

What to know before buying

1. The bottles are 18 oz each — larger than many kids' bottles; check backpack pocket depth.
2. The straw is soft silicone; replace if the child chews on it aggressively.
3. Bottles are not designed for carbonated drinks — pressure can cause leakage.
4. The 2-pack contains two colors (typically blue and pink) — check listing for exact colors.
5. Use a straw brush to clean inside the straw and lid seal weekly to prevent mold.

Two bottles for the price of one! My girls love their different colors, and the water stays ice cold through lunch. No leaks yet after two months of daily use. — Verified buyer

Sustainability & ethics

baab uses 18/8 stainless steel, which is fully recyclable and does not require plastic lining. The bottles are free of BPA, phthalates, and lead. Packaging is minimal cardboard. Manufacturing is in China; the brand is small, and public information on labor practices is limited.

Frequently asked questions

Are these baab bottles dishwasher safe?

The stainless steel body is dishwasher safe, but the lid and straw should be hand washed to preserve the silicone seal and prevent clouding of the plastic parts.

Do the bottles really keep drinks cold for 12 hours?

Yes, with ice cubes, the bottles maintain cold temperatures for up to 12 hours as verified by parent reviewers.

Are the two bottles identical in design?

The 2-pack typically comes in two different color combinations (e.g., one blue/teal and one pink/purple) to help distinguish them.

Can I use these bottles for hot tea or soup?

No, the straw lid is not designed for hot liquids — use a thermos-type bottle with a screw cap for hot beverages.

How does this compare to the Ello Ellies 12oz bottle?

The baab offers 6 oz more capacity per bottle and comes as a 2-pack, making it a better value for multiple kids, though slightly heavier.
