Key features & specs

How it compares

Audible Gift Membership (12 Months) stands apart from monthly Audible plans by offering a lower per-credit cost and the convenience of a one-time payment. Compared to other audiobook subscriptions like Scribd (which has a rotating catalog) and Libro.fm (which supports local bookstores), Audible's annual plan wins on title selection and ownership — credits never expire and you keep the books even after canceling.

What to know before buying

1. Recipient must have or create an Amazon account to redeem the membership.
2. Credits roll over for up to 12 months if unused, so no pressure to rush.
3. The Plus Catalog is included but does not include bestsellers — those require a credit.
4. Gift memberships start on the redemption date, not the purchase date.
5. You can schedule the delivery date when checking out.

"I gave this to my dad for his birthday and he's already used 6 credits in two months. He loves being able to pick any book without worrying about cost. The Plus Catalog is a nice bonus too." — Verified buyer
