Key features & specs

How it compares

Compared to a USB‑tethering travel router (which requires a constant power source) or a budget 4G hotspot (which lacks 5G speeds), the KuWFi offers true 5G + Wi‑Fi 6 performance with a large battery. It stands out against other 5G eSIM hotspots by including both an eSIM slot and a physical SIM slot, giving you more plan flexibility.

What to know before buying

1. Confirm that your destination has 5G Sub-6 GHz coverage; the hotspot does not support mmWave.
2. If you want to use the eSIM, download the KuWFi app before your trip to purchase and activate a data plan.
3. For the best speeds, place the hotspot in an upper pocket or window seat to avoid signal blockage.
4. The device supports up to 10 simultaneous connections, but heavy usage on all devices may reduce individual throughput.

“I used the KuWFi during a two‑week trip across Southeast Asia. The 5G speed was fantastic for uploading video files, and the battery lasted a full day of heavy use.” — Verified buyer

Sustainability & ethics

The KuWFi ships in a mostly recycled cardboard box, though it includes plastic trays. The ABS plastic body is durable and recyclable. The company complies with RoHS standards and operates under Chinese labor regulations, which have limited transparency.
