Key features & specs

The following table outlines the technical specifications for these organic straws.

How it compares

When compared to stainless steel straws, bamboo provides a more natural mouthfeel and does not conduct heat, making it safer for hot beverages. Unlike glass straws, the Bambu Bamboo Drinking Straws 12-Pack is shatterproof and highly portable for travel. While silicone alternatives are flexible, they lack the carbon-sequestering benefits of rapidly renewable bamboo stalks.

How to use it

1. Rinse each straw with warm soapy water before the first use.
2. Use the included plant-based bristle brush to clean the interior after each use.
3. Avoid soaking the straws in water for extended periods to maintain structural integrity.
4. Air dry completely in a vertical position before storing in a drawer.
5. Oil occasionally with a food-safe oil to extend the life of the wood.
